    "Basic Essence" refers to the most simple and essential form of something – the core that defines its nature or character. In the context of jewelry, it can represent a design reduced to its fundamental but significant elements, where all excess is removed, leaving only what is necessary. It expresses a purity and simplicity that highlights the timeless beauty of the basic.

    About the Designers

    In this collection, Janne Krogh Hansen and Karl Ejnar Nybo work closely with design student or goldsmith apprentices, where everyone participates actively and on equal footing. Janne and Karl take responsibility for the overall direction, but the students contribute their unique perspectives and creative ideas. This collaboration creates a dynamic process that merges traditional craftsmanship with fresh approaches. The result is a collection of jewelry that radiates both elegance and innovation, where every detail is carefully considered and executed.
